| DESCRIPTION This excursion offers the possibility and the opportunity to have a look at the Amalfi coast from a particular point of view and a privileged perspective.The Amalfi coast, from the sea, exhibits all its marvellous beauty, giving the occasion to admire beaches, ravines, details of the rocky cliff and the vegetation not visible from other views. In fact many of the beaches where we will stop can only be reached by the sea, through a canoe or a small boat (there are at least twenty little beaches to visit).The excursion provides stop over at Erchie and its bay (here snorkelling is a fantastic experience: the water is clear and crystal thanks to favourable currents) and at Cetara, maritime village far away from mass tourism: here your guide will show you the ancient gastronomical traditions deeply tied to fishing, the main activity of the inhabitants even today. Anchovy and tunny fishing are the most important activities and their by-products are genuine deliciousness for every excellent palate: tuna in oil, anchovies in oil or brine, anchovy dripping (a tasty juice obtained from the anchovies manufacturing and used to cook and season the spaghetti according to various recipes). This excursion does not require extreme physical engagement and allows a lot of free time to swim and dive, to stop very near the fishermen’s boat, to have a look at their fish, and time for a snack or a drink. |
