h. 8.00 meeting at the hostel and departure for Felitto (National Park of the Cilento)

h. 9.30 trekking tour

h. 9.30-12.00 visit of the gorges of the river Calore

h. 12.00 arrival at selected farms and purchase (on request) of typical products: cheese, bread, wine, etc.

h.13.30 lunch with typical products. In the afternoon visit of Paestum, its Museum and the famous Temples.

h. 17.00 departure for Salerno

h. 18.00 arrival at the hostel

DESCRIPTION

This excursion has a particular meaning in the fact that it suggests and offers the meeting with the culture of the Cilento, rich in rural traditions tied to the agricultural world. The excursion is a stimulating experience not only for the extraordinary quality of the local products (that is possible to taste), but also for the striking beauty of the landscape that, before ending the tour (it takes almost an hour and half until the Medieval Bridge), becomes simply extraordinary: we are now in the heart of the National Park of the Cilento. During the tour that follows a circular line (the arrival is at the same oasis of departure) we will stop at a farm where it is possible to buy, directly from the peasants, all the products for a typical picnic lunch in contact with nature. We will see, moreover, many trees of figs, apples, walnuts and, according to the season, we can try some of the fruits.In the afternoon we will visit Paestum, the Temples and their archeological site, the National Museum.
